愛すべき存在、その愛は自分の全てを包み込む。自分の様な人間を信頼し、嫁というポジョンを務めてくれた変わり者で愛すべきもの。

癒しと恐怖の入りじまる存在、時にはヨーダであり、時にはダースベーダーである。どちらなのかは嫁が口を開くまではわからない。

Lovely & Scary. Sometimes she is like Yoda but sometimes she is Darth Vader. It’s hard to tell until you hear what she have to say.

鏡、自分がサボれば、嫁もサボる、自分が飲めば嫁も飲む、自分が幸せなら嫁も幸せ、、、それはそれはとても不思議なそんざい。

A mirror. A mysterious one, she gets lazy when I am, she drinks if I do and she is happy if I am.

Business partner, one that I respect, a daughter, a baby, a doctor, tennis partner, best friend, and a sister.

自分の選択肢を洗練してくれる存在、自分だけの世界だと「それでいい」事もパートナーといるとそれはそうで無くなる。その為より洗練された自分を求めるようになる。

Someone that can refine my decision in life. Honestly sometimes it does not matter if it’s just me, but with my wife, the decision must change. In result my life is refined.

世界一のシェフ：僕にとって最高の食事とは、最高の仲間と最高にうまいものを食べる事。決して他人が評価するお店に行くことではない。その視点からいうと嫁は世界一のシェフである。

The best chef in the world. In my definition, the best meal is not to go to a well known restaurant but it is to have great food with amazing people. In that sense, wife is the best chef in my world.

親分: 男性とは女性に仕えるもの。これはよくよく考えるとわかる。なので良い親分を探すことが大切。悪い親分だと男性の人生は終わってしまう。

The Big Boss. The deeper you think you will realize that man are always serving the woman. No matter what. So, the important thing is to find a good boss. With a bad boss, the life of man will be miserable.

世界一の投資対象、昔VCにいて色々な投資先を見たけど嫁ほど投資として正しいものはない。一つ一つの事が面白いほどに自分に返ってくるし、嫁に投資をすればするほど自分の人生も豊かになる。

The best investment in the world. As an ex-venture capitalist I have seen many investments. And non of them are comparable to a investment to your wife. Everything makes difference and the more you invest the more you gain.

最後の味方、我々男性はとても多くの間違いを起こす、それは仕事だったりプライベートだったり、その中で多くの場合嫁だけは最後まで味方でいてくれる。嫁が味方じゃなくなったら全て０からやり直した方がいい。

The last resort. We men make mistakes, a lot of them in private and in work. Wife in many case is the only one that will support you until the end. And if she decides not to suppoert you any more, you should re-start everything in your life.

いっけんコスト、長期的に見れば最大のリターン。これは投資という面とも近いけど。最初は嫁がいるとコストが増える、でも結果的にはそのコストをまかなうために頑張るので自分一人では得られなかったリターンが得られる。

In short run; Cost, In long run; Huge return. From my experience in first several months of having a wife your monthly cost will increase. But then you will have to figure out how to cover this and you will eventually. Then you realize that you have achieved something you could never have without your wife.

出会ってないならいらない。嫁というのは親分だと上に書いたけど、正しい親分に出会ってないなら親分はいらない。無理して適当な親分の元に仕えると大変なことになる、、、

No need if it’s not the right one. As mentioned above, wife is your boss, and if you have not met the right boss don’t bother having one. The worst thing is to have the wrong boss.
